Two New Afghans:

My son Dawson wanted me to make him a nice blue afghan for his bday which was Sept. 8th and this is what he received:



Just a very basic rectangular granny in various blues, but he ADORES it and thinks its the softest blanket he's ever had!

The second blanket I whipped up just because I had some scrap yarns lying about that needed a new home. This is a round ripple done holding two strands of yarn together and mixing them up so that it appears the colors meld into each other.



I'm now making a second round ripple in the same fashion but I'm doing it all in purple hues because since I made Dawson his, his sister has decided I have to make her a blankie too!
