Yesterday I made a run to Wally World and picked up some purple yarns to make a gigantic crayon pillow (pdf file)for my daughter. I've already made one of these for each of my boys and both of them will tell you that it took me forever to make them. Not because they're difficult, its because they're so butt-assed boring to make! One took me 8 years and the other 4. I figure I'm in a good standing to get hers done sometime near when she starts school in another 3 years or so....

Still waiting on the patterns and supplies for the bed dolls I want to make a few family members and friends for Christmas.

Oh and just the other day, I received a pleasant suprise in the mail. I made a boobie pillow for a dear friend of mine (Silver) as a goofy sort of "just because" gift. We still laugh about it to this day. However, he decided to turn the tables on me. He sent me a package (his Gma's tatting shuttle! Thanks again Gram! Hugs!) in a box wrapped with, yep, you guessed it, boobs! I guess we're even now but I think I'll have to up the ante. Now if I can only find just the right thing to send...
